Yes, you are welcome to walk on at our Canberra (Tuggeranong) centre. If you arrive without a reservation, our team will do their best to place you into an existing group of a similar age and experience level.

However, to ensure you have the best possible experience, we strongly recommend the following:

  • Call Ahead: Please call our national booking office on 1300 798 336 before heading to the centre. This allows us to confirm that we have sessions running and that there is equipment availability for your preferred time.

  • Guaranteed Entry: Pre-booking is the only way to guarantee your spot on the field, especially on busy weekends when the Canberra centre often reaches capacity.

  • Streamlined Arrival: Booked players get priority during the kitting-up process, meaning you’ll get onto the game zones faster.

  • Canberra Pro-Tip: Walking on is great for solo players or pairs, but for groups of 10 or more, a booking is essential to ensure we can keep your squad together.

Yes. All players are required to complete an online registration form before they arrive at the centre.

  • Under 16s: ALL Players under 16 must have their registration completed by a parent or guardian via our online registration portal.

  • Group Tip: We recommend sending the registration link to your entire group with your invitations to ensure a fast check-in.

  • Accessing the Link: Please ask your event coordinator for your unique group link when finalizing your booking.

Booking your adventure at our Tuggeranong centre is simple. As the authority in ACT paintball, we offer several flexible ways to secure your preferred date:

  • Online Enquiry: Complete our Online Booking Form, and a member of our team will contact you to finalise the details of your Canberra mission.

  • Organiser Pro-Tip: To ensure a stress-free check-in, we recommend booking for your “definite” players first. You can always add more troops to your booking later (subject to equipment availability) by calling our team.

  • Visit by Appointment: While you are welcome to visit our woodland centre to view the facilities, this is by appointment only. Please call our booking office first to ensure a manager is available to assist you.

At Delta Force Paintball, we cater to groups of all sizes! Whether you are coming alone or bringing a small squad, you can always get in on the action.

Private Game Upgrades

If your group prefers the exclusivity of playing only against each other, we offer Private Game packages. This provides your group with dedicated game zones and your own private marshals to manage your sessions throughout the day.

  • Large Groups (40+): Any group of 40+ prepaid players qualifies for a complimentary private game at no extra cost.

  • Small Group Privacy: For groups smaller than 40 who still desire a private experience, please contact our booking office. Private games for smaller groups under 40 players, incur an additional fee to cover the cost of dedicated staffing and exclusive field use.

  • Centre Discretion: Please note that all private game arrangements are subject to staff availability and the discretion of the Centre Manager.

How to Book Your Private Experience

Due to specific staffing requirements, private games must be arranged in advance. Please reach out to our team via:

While we occasionally accept last-minute bookings, we highly recommend booking at least 10–14 days in advance, especially for Saturdays and Sundays, which frequently sell out.

Yes. We strongly recommend booking for your minimum confirmed players today. Our Canberra (Tuggeranong) centre is a premier destination and often reaches capacity weeks in advance, especially for weekend sessions.

  • Lock in Your Date: Secure your spot on the field with your “core group” now to ensure your preferred date is protected.

  • Grow Your Group: You can add additional players to your Canberra booking up until a few days before your event. Simply call our national booking office on 1300 798 336, and as long as equipment is available, we will increase your troop size.

  • Organiser Flexibility: Booking for your “definites” now means you don’t have to wait for every single person to pay you before securing the session for the rest of the group.

  • Canberra Pro-Tip: It is much easier to add a few extra players to an existing booking than to try and find a new date for a large group because the centre has reached full capacity. Secure the definites first!

In the Australian Capital Territory (ACT), the legal minimum age to play traditional paintball is 16 years old. However, as the region’s leader in paintball innovation, Delta Force Paintball Canberra offers a world-class alternative for our younger recruits:

  • Traditional Paintball (Ages 16+): Following ACT law, players must be at least 16 years of age to participate in standard paintball sessions. All players aged 16 and 17 must have a parental consent form completed via our online registration system before arriving at the Tuggeranong centre.

  • MiniBall (Ages 8–15): Our Canberra centre is a premier provider of MiniBall, a specialized version of the game developed specifically to meet legal requirements for younger players. It utilizes smaller, lightweight equipment and “low-impact” pump-action markers. This makes it a perfectly safe, legal, and thrilling way for children aged 8 to 15 to experience our movie-quality game zones.

Canberra Parent Tip: The Ultimate Birthday Choice

MiniBall is the #1 choice for primary and early high school birthday parties in the ACT. Because MiniBall packages at Delta Force Canberra include unlimited ammunition, parents love the “fixed-cost” nature of the event, and kids love the non-stop action on our movie set theme game zones without ever having to worry about their reload count!

At Delta Force Paintball Canberra, we specialize in providing a safe and balanced environment for all players. We understand that a high-quality experience in Tuggeranong depends on fair competition.

  • Age-Matched Groups: Whenever possible, we join groups with other players of a similar age and experience level. This ensures our “Young Gunz” (Ages 16-17) aren’t pitted against experienced corporate teams.

  • Strict Age Laws (Ages 8–15): Due to strict ACT Firearms Legislation, children aged 8–15 are legally prohibited from participating in standard paintball. However, they can join the action through our specialized MiniBall sessions, which use low-impact technology specifically designed and legally approved for this age group.
  • Family Flexibility: You may occasionally see mixed-age groups on the field. This is a popular choice for family birthday celebrations where parents or older siblings want to lead their squad alongside younger family members.

  • MiniBall Exclusivity (Ages 8–15): If you are booking a MiniBall session, the games are exclusively for young players and their accompanying adults. These sessions use low-impact markers and are strictly separated from traditional paintball sessions.

  • Professional Supervision: Regardless of the group mix, every game is supervised by our highly trained marshals who strictly enforce safety rules and ensure a fun, inclusive environment.

We know that chasing people for money can be the hardest part of organising a group. To make the process as stress-free as possible, we offer flexible payment options:

  • Secure the Date: The group organiser typically secures the desired date by paying for the minimum number of confirmed players.

  • Individual Payments: We can often arrange for individual players to pay for their own packages, taking the pressure off the organiser.

  • Flexible Management: Whether you want to pay in one lump sum or have players call in separately, our team is here to help. Please speak with our national booking office on 1300 798 336 to discuss the best way to manage your group’s payments.

  • Add as You Go: You can add more players to your booking as they confirm their attendance, up until a few days before your event (subject to availability).

You can easily purchase extra supplies at our Canberra base camp kiosk during your event. Our shop is fully stocked with everything you need to maintain your tactical advantage:

  • Group Packages: We offer several tiered options that provide ammunition at a discounted rate. These packages are the #1 choice for competitive groups as they offer a much lower “cost-per-paintball” compared to individual refills.

  • Tactical Gear: Professional-grade armoured gloves and groin guards are available to purchase for enhanced comfort and protection.

  • Accepted Payment: We accept Cash and all major Debit/Credit Cards (PIN only).

  • Canberra Pro-Tip: While MiniBall (Ages 8–15) includes unlimited ammunition, traditional paintball players should look at our larger group packages on arrival to get the best value for their session.

Paintball usage varies depending on your playing style, but a good rule of thumb for our Canberra centre is approximately 200 paintballs per game zone. Because every player is different—some prefer tactical sniping while others are more “trigger-happy”—the total amount you use is entirely up to you.

Estimating Your Ammunition Needs

  • Flexible Play: You have the freedom to decide how many game zones you play throughout the day.

  • Pay-As-You-Play: Further paintballs are always available for purchase at our onsite shop during your session, giving you full discretion over your spending.

  • Group Upgrades: Many groups prefer to get the group upgrade packages rather than opting to buy individual 100-ball pods every time. These packages offer better value and ensure your whole squad is well-stocked for the duration of the session.

Pro-Tip for Canberra Players:

To get the most out of your day, we recommend starting with a mid-sized bundle. In our larger, more immersive game zones—like the Tomb Raider or Resident Evil—the action can get intense, and you won’t want to run out of paint in the middle of a mission!

At Delta Force Paintball Canberra, we understand that plans can change. Planning an event requires precision. If a member of your squad is “MIA” on game day, we ensure their value is preserved:

  • Credit Place Policy: All prepayments for players who do not turn up—including their paintball allocations, entry, and equipment—are carried forward as a credit place on your booking profile. All prepayments and paintball allocations are non-refundable and non-transferable.

  • Non-Transferable on the Day: Please note that these allocations are strictly non-transferable between players on the day. This means a no-show player’s paintballs cannot be used or shared by other members of the group during that session.

  • Redeeming Your Credit: This credit can be applied to a future paintball booking at any of our Australian centres, allowing the absent player (or a replacement) to join a future mission.

ACT Organiser Tip: To maximize your game time on fields like Tomb Raider, we suggest finalizing your “definite” list 48 hours before your mission. If a player drops out at the last minute, rest assured their credit is saved for their next visit!

Yes. All sessions at Delta Force Paintball Canberra proceed in almost all weather conditions. Paintball is an all-weather outdoor sport, and our Tuggeranong centre is fully equipped to ensure your group has a world-class experience even if the weather turns.

Our All-Weather Facilities

  • Sheltered Base Camp: Our Canberra centre features undercover areas to keep your group dry and comfortable during the safety briefing and between game missions.

  • Secure Lockers: We provide on-site lockers to ensure your valuables and dry clothes remain protected while you are out on the field.

  • Tactical Advantage: Many players find that a bit of rain adds an extra layer of excitement and tactical challenge to our outdoor game zones—it just adds to the “Special Ops” atmosphere!

Weather & Cancellation Policy

In the unlikely event that a session cannot proceed due to extreme weather, safety concerns, or “Force Majeure Events” (circumstances beyond reasonable human control), Delta Force Paintball reserves the right to issue a full-value credit for the booking instead of a refund.

  • Flexibility: This credit is valid for a future booking date at our Canberra centre.

  • Transferable: The credit may be used by the original customer or transferred to another person.

  • Safety First: Cancellations are rare and only occur if our Centre Manager deems conditions unsafe for players or staff.

Pro-Tip for Canberra Players:

If rain is forecast, we recommend bringing a towel and a spare change of clothes to leave in your car. There’s nothing better than jumping into dry clothes for the journey home after a victorious day on the field!

Yes. Free on-site parking is available, though spaces can be limited during peak periods. We strongly recommend carpooling where possible.

We offer both morning and afternoon sessions to fit your squad’s schedule. Because operating times can vary depending on the season and light conditions in the ACT, we recommend checking your specific date with our team.

  • Standard Sessions: We typically run a morning session starting around 10:00 am and an afternoon session starting around 1:30 pm.

  • Winter Itinerary: To account for shorter days, our winter sessions typically shift to a 9:00 am start for mornings and a 12:30 pm start for afternoons.
  • Seasonal Adjustments: During the winter months, session times may be brought forward slightly to ensure you get the most out of the daylight hours on our Tuggeranong fields.

  • Plan Your Trip: Our Canberra centre is located in Tuggeranong, approximately 20 minutes from the CBD. We recommend allowing extra travel time for weekend traffic or if you are travelling from North Canberra to ensure you arrive in time for the compulsory safety briefing.
  • Check Your Date: For the exact itinerary and arrival times for your chosen date, please contact our national booking office on 1300 798 336.

To ensure your session starts on time, we provide several tools to help you locate our Tuggeranong entrance easily. Standard GPS can sometimes lead you to a general street address rather than our specific forest gate, so we recommend the following steps:

  • Search for the Brand Directly: If you are using Google Maps, Waze, or Apple Maps, searching for “Delta Force Paintball Canberra” is significantly more accurate than entering a street address alone.

  • Use Your Booking Confirmation: Upon booking, you will receive a confirmation email containing a detailed map and directions. We strongly recommend sharing this digital or printable PDF with every driver in your group before you set off.

  • Sat Nav Caution: While Sat Nav is a helpful tool, woodland entrances can be discreet. Please cross-reference your GPS with our specific directions to ensure you reach the correct entrance gate off Monaro Highway.

  • Live Support: If you are struggling to find us on the day, please call our national booking office on 1300 798 336. Our team can provide immediate guidance to ensure you reach the car park safely.

Pro-Tip for Canberra Organisers: Aim to arrive at least 15–20 minutes before your scheduled session time (typically 10:00 am or 1:30 pm). This allows for unexpected traffic on the Monaro Highway or Tuggeranong Parkway and ensures your group has time to check in before the compulsory safety briefing.

From the moment you arrive, our team ensures your experience is professional, safe, and high-energy. A typical session follows this itinerary:

  • Arrival & Registration: You will be greeted by our friendly staff for check-in. To ensure a fast-track entry, please ensure all players have completed their online registration forms before arriving at the centre.

  • Kitting Up: Once checked in, you will be issued with your professional-grade gear, including your full-head goggle system, bespoke body armour, and full-body combat suit.

  • Compulsory Safety Briefing: Before the action begins, all players must attend a professional safety briefing. This covers equipment handling, game zone rules, and our strict safety protocols.

  • The Action Starts: You will head out to our themed game zones to play 4–6 varied games per session. Each game features a different objective to test your team’s strategy and skill.

Delta Force Paintball Canberra is located at the Corner of Monaro Highway & Old Tuggeranong Road, Tuggeranong ACT 2900. Our ACT centre offers the most immersive woodland gameplay in the region.

  • Approximate Travel Times:

    • From Canberra CBD: ~20 minutes via the Monaro Highway.

    • From Belconnen: ~25-30 minutes via the Tuggeranong Parkway.

    • From Queanbeyan: ~15-20 minutes via Lanyon Drive and the Monaro Highway.

  • How to Find Us: Exit the Monaro Highway at the Tuggeranong exit and bear left onto Old Tuggeranong Road. For the most reliable GPS results, search directly for “Delta Force Paintball Canberra”.

  • Plan Your Arrival: With potential delays on the Monaro Highway, please aim to arrive 15 minutes before your session start time. This allows for a smooth check-in at our forest base camp.

  • On-the-Day Support: If you have any difficulties finding the entrance, call our national booking office on 1300 798 336 for immediate guidance.

Yes, you are more than welcome to eat at our Canberra (Tuggeranong) centre. To ensure your group stays energised for their missions, we provide a comfortable environment for your “victory feast.”

  • BYO Picnics & Packed Lunches: We strongly encourage players to bring their own lunches and plenty of fluids. Staying hydrated is essential for a high-energy day on the field!

  • Maximize Your Game Time: We strongly recommend saving your main lunch or “victory feast” for after the games have concluded. Our sessions move quickly, and stopping for a full meal mid-session can cut into your actual playing time. It’s better to fuel up with small snacks during the short breaks and enjoy the big spread once the gear is handed back!
  • Sheltered Base Camp: Our Canberra centre features a large, undercover base camp with picnic seating. This is a dedicated “safe zone” where your group can relax and enjoy their food between or after the games.

  • On-Site Kiosk: Our shop stocks a selection of cold drinks (including Gatorade and soft drinks), chocolates, and light snacks if you need a quick energy boost.

  • Catering & Delivery Note: Please note that Delta Force Canberra does not offer on-site catering (hot meals) or food delivery services directly. However, you are more than welcome to arrange your own external delivery (such as pizza) to the centre entrance.

  • Birthday Celebrations: Bringing a birthday cake? You are more than welcome to store and serve a cake in the base camp to celebrate with your group after kitting down.

Canberra Organiser Tip: Bringing an “esky” with cold water and sandwiches is the most popular way for our groups to fuel up. It keeps things simple and cost-effective!

A typical day is divided into two sessions:

  • Morning Session: Approx. 10:00 am – 1:00 pm (Winter: 9:00 am – 12:00 pm)

  • Afternoon Session: Approx. 1:30 pm – 4:30 pm (Winter: 12:30 pm – 3:30 pm) Expect to play 4–6 varied game zones during your session, with refreshment breaks in between.

Expect to be at the centre for approximately 3 to 4 hours. This includes your arrival, kit-up, safety briefing, and roughly 6 varied game with refreshment breaks.

Please contact our booking office for more details.

Staying fueled is the key to a victorious day at Delta Force Paintball Canberra. To help you plan your session in Tuggeranong, please note our food and beverage options:

  • On-site Kiosk: Our military-themed base camp features a snack shop stocked with chocolates, chips, and a variety of ice-cold soft drinks and energy drinks to help you refuel between missions.

  • BYO Food & Drink: You are more than welcome to bring your own food and non-alcoholic beverages! We provide ample undercover seating and picnic tables in our base camp.

  • Maximizing Game Time (Timing): To ensure your squad gets the most action on fields like Tomb Raider, our schedule is designed for back-to-back missions with short reloading breaks. We recommend saving your main lunch for a “Victory Feast” after your session concludes. This prevents the “post-lunch slump” and ensures every minute of your session is spent on the game zones rather than in the base camp.

  • No On-site Catering: Please note that Delta Force Paintball Canberra does not offer on-site catering or food delivery services ourselves. * Independent Delivery: You are welcome to arrange your own external food delivery (such as pizza) to the centre entrance. Please ensure you are available to meet the driver at the main gate.
  • Canberra Pro-Tip: Bring a large “chilly bin” or esky with plenty of water. Most groups find that a DIY picnic enjoyed after the final whistle is the best way to celebrate the day’s highlights!

For the best safety and comfort, Delta Force Paintball recommends wearing light, layered clothing and sturdy footwear. As Australia’s leader in paintball safety, we provide professional-grade protective equipment to every player as part of your admission.

Expert Clothing Recommendations

  • Base Layers: Wear light, breathable “old” clothes—such as a t-shirt and gym shorts or leggings—underneath the combat suit we provide. This prevents overheating while providing a comfortable fit.

  • The Delta Force Combat Suit: Every player is issued a custom-designed, full-length combat suit with a protective padded collar. This is specifically engineered to protect your skin from the elements and paint.

  • Footwear: Sturdy, closed-toe shoes with good tread are essential for the woodland terrain in Canberra. We highly recommend hiking boots or old sneakers with ankle support. Note: Sandals, flip-flops, and metal-studded boots are strictly prohibited.

Essential Gear & Extras

  • Safety Equipment: Your admission includes our industry-leading safety kit: full-head goggles with a wrap-around protection system and custom-designed body armour.

  • Post-Game Comfort: We strongly suggest bringing a towel and a full change of clothes for the journey home. Paintball is an active sport, and you’ll appreciate fresh clothes after a day of missions.

  • Payment Methods: Our on-site kiosk at Canberra accepts credit/debit cards and cash for refreshments, extra ammunition, or optional tactical upgrades like armored gloves and groin guards.

Pro-Tip from our Centre Managers:

If you are playing during the Canberra winter, a light hoodie underneath your combat suit provides excellent added padding and warmth. In summer, focus on moisture-wicking fabrics to stay cool during high-intensity games.

Yes, you are welcome to bring your own equipment to Delta Force Paintball Canberra, but please note that all personal equipment use remains at the absolute discretion of the Centre Manager. Strict ACT legal requirements and safety protocols also apply:

  • Paintball Markers: You may use your own marker provided you hold a valid firearms license (where required by law) and the marker is inspected by our staff. Strictly .50 Calibre only. We do not support .68 cal markers.

  • Specifications: Your marker must be chronographed to fire below 300 FPS and must be compatible with Delta Force air bottles.

  • Air Supply: For safety reasons, we do NOT allow customers’ own gas cylinders on-site for ANY REASON. Our marshals will provide and refill Delta Force air bottles to 3000 PSI after every double game (approximately every 30 minutes), ensuring you have more than enough gas for the session.

  • Safety Check: The Centre Manager will perform a mandatory Health & Safety check to ensure the marker meets all onsite guidelines.

  • Goggles & Suits: You are welcome to use your own paintball-specific goggles and combat suits, provided they pass a safety inspection by our Centre Manager on the day. Goggles must be unmodified and designed specifically for paintball.

  • Paintballs: To maintain our 100% safety record and environmental standards, only paintballs issued by Delta Force on the day of your event may be used. External paintballs are strictly prohibited.

Important: We operate a strict “No Markers in Base Camp” policy. Your equipment must remain safely racked in our designated gun zone at all times when not in active play. You are free to perform maintenance in the gun zone between games as required.

No. For the safety of our players and the protection of the local environment, only paintballs issued by Delta Force Paintball Canberra on the day of your event may be used.

  • Quality & Performance: To ensure a premium experience, our paintballs are fresh and stored in climate-controlled conditions. This guarantees they break on impact rather than causing unnecessary discomfort.

  • Safety First: We cannot verify the storage conditions or age of paintballs brought from off-site. For your safety, paintballs taken home from a previous session cannot be brought back and used at a later date.

  • Protecting the Canberra Ecosystem: We use 100% biodegradable paintballs at our Tuggeranong location to ensure no lasting impact on the local flora and fauna.

  • Canberra Pro-Tip: Our paintballs are specifically selected to work perfectly with our high-spec .50 calibre markers. Using our fresh ammo ensures your shots stay accurate and your equipment doesn’t jam!

At Delta Force Paintball Canberra, your comfort and safety are our highest priorities. While you may feel a slight “sting” similar to a quick flick of a rubber band, our industry-leading safety gear is specifically designed to minimise impact.

To ensure a comfortable experience, we provide all players with:

  • Bespoke Body Armour: Our custom-designed plates protect the torso, significantly reducing the feel of any impact.

  • Full-Body Combat Suits: These thick suits feature integrated padded neck collars for extra protection in sensitive areas.

  • Full-Head Goggle Systems: Our goggles wrap entirely around the head, protecting the ears, temples, and face.

  • Professional Marshalling: Our marshals enforce a “strict distance rule,” ensuring no one is shot from close range.

  • .50 Calibre Technology: By using a smaller, lighter calibre of paintball, we reduce the impact energy by 60% compared to traditional centres.

Pro-Tip for Comfort: We recommend wearing loose, layered clothing underneath your combat suit. This adds an extra buffer and allows you to move freely. For maximum peace of mind, armoured gloves and groin protection are also available at our on-site shop to protect your hands.

Yes, paintball is extremely safe at Delta Force Paintball. We maintain a 100% safety record through world-class equipment and strict safety protocols, including:

  • Full-Head Goggles: Our wrap-around goggle systems protect the entire head, including the ears, temples, and neck.

  • Custom Body Armour: Every player is issued bespoke body armour as standard to protect the torso.

  • Professional Supervision: Highly trained marshals supervise every game, manage equipment, and strictly enforce “no-fire” zones in the base camp.

MiniBall (Ages 8–15)

For our younger recruits in Canberra, we offer MiniBall—a specialized version of the game designed for kids to enjoy our movie-quality game zones with maximum comfort:

  • Low Impact: We use spring-loaded markers that provide a much softer hit than traditional paintball.

  • Lightweight Gear: Smaller combat suits and equipment tailored specifically for younger frames.

  • Non-Stop Action: MiniBall packages include unlimited ammo, so the kids can focus on the mission without worrying about their reload count!

Note for Parents: While all activities are strictly supervised, we recommend parents ensure their child is mature enough to follow basic safety instructions.

Still have questions? Our event coordinators are ready to help! Give us a call at 1300 798 336 for more details on how we keep our Canberra players safe.

At Delta Force Paintball, we believe the adventure should be accessible to as many people as possible. There are no strict height or weight restrictions; however, we recommend the following for your comfort and safety:

  • Bespoke Equipment: We provide custom-designed body armour and combat suits in a wide range of sizes. Our equipment is adjustable and designed to accommodate various body types comfortably.

  • Mobility & Terrain: Our game zones in Canberra are located in natural woodland. Players should be able to navigate uneven bushland terrain, slopes, and forest floors reasonably comfortably.

  • Safety First: For your safety, our staff must be able to ensure that your protective goggles and body armour fit correctly and securely. If a secure fit cannot be achieved, participation may be restricted at the Centre Manager’s discretion.

  • Ask our Team: If you have specific concerns about sizing or mobility, please call our national booking office on 1300 798 336. Our team is experienced in assisting groups of all sizes and can provide further details on our equipment specifications.
